Liminal은 라틴어 'limen'에서 온 말로, '문턱' 또는 '경계'를 의미합니다. 이는 단순히 어느 한 지점에 머무르는 상태가 아닌, 새로운 가능성으로 넘어가는 전환의 순간을 뜻합니다. 졸업은 끝이 아니라 또 다른 시작을 마주하는 경계의 순간입니다. 지금까지의 고민과 시도는 작품 속에 잔상으로 남아 있으며 이는 파동처럼 퍼져나가 새로운 변화의 계기를 만들어냅니다. 변화는 다시 또 다른 시도로 이어지며 순환하고, 그 과정 속에서 우리는 끊임없이 성장하며 가능성을 넓혀갑니다. 확장된 시선을 담은 이번 전시는 경계 위에 선 우리들의 현재와 앞으로 이어질 무한한 가능성을 담아냅니다.

Liminal comes from the Latin word “limen,” meaning “threshold” or “boundary.” It refers to a transitional moment of moving toward new possibilities. Graduation is not an end, but a threshold to another beginning. Our thoughts and attempts remain as afterimages within our works, spreading like waves and creating new change. These changes lead to further attempts, through which we continue to grow and expand our possibilities. This exhibition captures our present moment on the boundary and the possibilities that continue to unfold beyond it.
